AEI Rail/Container Manager is an advanced version of our AEI Rail & Road Manager program, which was developed for the Port of Tacoma. In addition to tracking rail cars from information received from AEI readers, it also tracks and maintains information on the containers transported on the rail cars. Information about containers is automatically received from Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Rail Advanced Interchange Consist (418) messages. The EDI418 messages provide the following information: - Estimated time of arrival - Container location on the rail car - Waybill information |
