Sargas Railroad AEI Reader
The Softrail's Sargas Railroad AEI Reader is a special version of the Sargas RF Reader that can read railroad AEI tags.
Softrail has also developed special interface software which makes it very easy for railroad customers to receive AEI tag data in different formats from the Sargas reader.
The Sargas reader is our preferred RF reader because of its advanced capabilities and direct network connection. It is used in our Spartan AEI Reader System .
The Sargas reader reads railroad AT5110, AT5118, AT5125, AT5133, AT5510, AT5541 and AT5549 transportation tags.
It has both a USB and Ethernet LAN interface. Up to six devices can simultaneously make a network connection and receive AEI tag data
The Sargas Reader can connect to two antennas. A single reader can, therefore, read tags on both sides of a rail vehicle.
It has two digital inputs and two digital outputs.
